How prompts are organized¶
Each prompt is a Markdown file with YAML frontmatter:

title: Caselaw Summary
tags:
- legal-research
- summarization
- caselaw
use_case: "Summarize a judicial opinion into issue / holding / reasoning"
model: claude-opus-4-6
created: 2026-04-15
updated: 2026-04-15
---
The body has three sections: When to use, Prompt (the actual text to paste into Claude), and Notes / variations.
Adding a prompt¶
python3 scripts/new_prompt.py \
--category legal-writing \
--slug motion-to-dismiss \
--title "Motion to Dismiss Drafting"
